Jenny has been in a home since she was 10 months old. She is fighting with the other female in the home and has dominant qualities.
Jenn's owners asked for help rehoming her by posting her on Rescueme.org where she was seen and contacted. The owner was willing to surrender her to rescue. She was picked up yesterday and taken to an experienced Kerry foster home.
She is reactive to other dogs but good with humans. She knows all her basic commands and is a willing learner. She needs guidance and structure to relearn how to react in situations she is uncomfortable. Jenny does have doggy friends.
Jenny is a pretty girl and an active young Kerry.
Jenny needs obedience training to bond with her new owners. She needs to learn that she does not need to react to other dogs. She is anxious so needs to feel safe and secure in a structured home. Proper introduction to other dogs will give her opportunity to make more friends.
Jenny is under evaluation right now to determine the best match for her. She will need a committed owner willing to work with her.
Jenny is fun and active and quite loving!
Other Dogs: Maybe
Young children will not be a good match for Jenny. She can be with older and dog savvy children if they are willing to help with her training and consistency.
Jenny is in great health as far as is known, but will have a vet check soon.
Obedience training will be a necessity.
