Gracie was surrendered to KBTF because her owner was moving and, unfortunately, could not take Gracie with her. She was temporarily fostered in IL by her transporter but is now happily in foster care in OH. Despite her age, Gracie made the transition to foster care nicely and is a joy to all she meets.
Fun loving and full of the Irish, Gracie is a delightful pet! She loves to run and play and looks forward to her daily walks like a child at Christmas In fact, her curiosity and exuberance for life are that of a younger dog.
Gracie is very sweet and affectionate and loves everyone, especially men. She is good with kids and other dogs, although she is yet untested with cats.
Like every dog, Gracie's ideal home will be with people who have a lot of love and affection to give and she would like an environment where people will have lots of time to spend with their new Kerry.
An active retired couple would be ideal for Gracie, but she would fit in almost anywhere.
Other Dogs: Yes
September 12, 2016 from foster: Gracie recently had surgery to remove some teeth and benign cysts. She is recovering her strength a bit every day and will be ready to go to her forever home in a few weeks.
