Fostered in Southern California
Lucy and Trey are 9-year old littermates.
The Foundation has accepted 2- 9 year old littermates. There is a "tea for two" a boy for me a girl for you. The owner was no longer able to care for the dogs due to life changes.
Trey and Lucy are currently in temporary foster care but we are looking for a longer term foster or foster to adopt family. The initial evaluation is that the dogs are friendly and very energetic lap dogs. Updates will be provided as evaluation continues.

Trey and Lucy are doing well in foster care. Both dogs have been to the vets and are now up to date with exams, shots, teeth cleaning and microchips.
Trey has been described as a laid back fellow who loves a lap and is a real sweetheart.
Lucy is described as a very active party girl who loves people and kids. She still appears to have puppy energy and is always looking to play. She also loves attention and is ready for lap time when you are!
Based on reports from the foster, there are 2 lovely homes out there that will be very lucky when Trey or Lucy get to them.
Lucy flew on a direct red-eye flight from Los Angeles to Raleigh. Our son and I picked her up at 6:30 am at the Raleigh airport on October 23 with absolutely no problems. We took Lucy to our son's home first so our granddaughter (age 9) could meet her and then Sandy and I brought her home to Southern Shores on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
She is a beautiful, very gentle Kerry who follows us around almost like a shadow. She likes to sit in our laps or to sleep next to us on the sofa as we watch television. She has exactly the personality my wife was hoping she would have. Lucy met one of our neighbors out walking her big dog. Lucy reacted just fine to both the stranger and to her dog. We are beginning to teach her simple commands such as sit, lie down, come, etc. because she acts as if she knows nothing about these.
We want to thank you, Brad Taylor, and the foster caretaker Pasquale Goglia for making this adoption possible. Lucy is a wonderful Kerry. We are so happy she has come to be an important part of our family.
