Fostered in the Southeast
Rescue Coordinator: George Hanna
Ollie is in search of a loving home with a yard to run and play in. He is very active and loving. He does not like being approached over his head and will need to be where there are NOT a lot of fast paced activities around him . A retired couple with no children would be ideal. He loves to be right next to you and loves to cuddle.
Ollie has gotten along with many dogs including Kerry puppies up to an 11 year old as well as two intact male Kerrries. He is also fine with horses and sheep. Cats are an unknown.
He does great on a leash. He has no recall but will follow the pack or a person anywhere. He is not a big barker.
Ollie prefers women over men but will warm up to anybody in a short time once he feels like he can trust the person. This is a VERY SPECIAL boy and will need a lot of love to bring all his Kerry personality out.
Ollie is very special to his fosters and it will take almost the perfect loving home to adopt him. The fosters state that he is the type of Kerry they could foster forever and never regret it but he deserves and needs a forever home where he is Number 1.
February 28, 2014: Ollie was adopted in North Carolina.
