Tucker, a Texas Jewel
Rescue Coordinator: Tom Sawyer
Let me introduce you to Tucker.
Tucker just turned 9 at the end of February, and is an owner release Kerry.
He weighs approximately 35lbs. He loves going for a ride in the car, being the first one in and last one out. He is well behaved and loves to go to the dog park. He gets along well with other dogs and likes to be a pack leader. Tucker is a real sweetheart and very generous with his kisses, and he is good with children. Tucker is potty trained, walks well on a leash. At night, he likes to sleeps on the floor at the end of the bed.
Tucker is your typical Kerry, full of spirit and loves to play. He is looking for someone that will be home most of the day to take him for long walks so he can investigate the local neighborhoods. He will make a loving companion to the right family.
We talked with the vet about Tucker's condition. Apparently he had to have 5 teeth extracted. This means a significant increase to his bill. Yes they did give the Foundation a discount but we are still approaching $1,000.00 for this visit. Guess they were in really bad shape. An help with Tucker's bill is appreciated.

Hi, Tuck ate for the first time tonight at 11 PM- he REALLY ate. This was kibbles to gain weight made of 70% Bison and 30% sweet potatoes. I have to give
him three helpings of this. He had 1/5 of a can of some weight gain product early in the evening before we went on the evening walk.
He now likes to sleep on the sofa in the living room at night; and is very happy when he wakes up. We take a short walk right after he wakes up in the morning.
So I will be sending in my formal request letter this coming weekend to adopt Tucker. I wanted to make sure that he was going to be happy in his new home, and I believe that he is!
