2011 Rescue Kerries Placed: Phoenix

Fostered in Ontario, Canada

Rescue Coordinator: Linda Grisley

Approximately 3 year old puppymill male kerry blue terrier located in Ontario, needs a new home.

Phoenix was purchased from PJ's pet store in Canada as a pup by a family with 3 young children. Unfortunately, because both parents work, Phoenix has not received the exercise a young Kerry boy needs. This gets him into trouble. He will jump up on the kids in his excitement and one child is now frightened of him because of his exuberance.

He has a sweet temperament and will surely be easy to get under control once he gets the exercise he needs. Think of it as adopting a 3 yr. old puppy!

Phoenix is neutered, and he is up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. It is recommended that he be adopted by active people. Older children are acceptable. He needs a fully fenced yard and someone who is home during the day to give him the attention he needs and deserves. Obedience classes will be necessary for Phoenix.

The pictures below are after Phoenix's haircut.
