Full-blooded Kerry Blue
NO abuse - Loving home
Loves long walks - sitting by your side or sleeping along side of you
Love to run and play - barking and spinning doing the Kerry Dance
Great on or off lead while isolated in the Woods
Must Have STRONG Alpha Owner
No Little Dogs
Must be supervised with other dogs
Negative: Can be people agressive. Has bitten owners brother at radom; one time he is fine next time he bites. Has grabbed a husky by the tail and drug it down a hill with the owner attached to the end of the Husky 's Leash.
Positive: No issues during the week he was living in the house with my wife and son. No issues with my family.
He is a great kerry; just needs a strong owner.
Patrick is being fostered by George Hanna, the Rescue Coordinator for the Southeast.
Patrick has adapted well to his foster home and runs and plays with 12 other dogs - including puppies and unaltered Kerries. He has had no issues. At night he stays in thekKitchen with 7 uncreated dogs.
He spends the weekends at work with me in the grooming shop running, loose with about 30 dogs each day going in and out, including meeting all the humans with no issues.
He also spent the weekend with our 3-year old son and loves him dearly.
He spends 4 days a week in Florida traveling with me and two other male Kerries and a puppy. He is never crated and is very well behaved and great manners in the car. Patrick loves car rides.
Has been out socially on and off lead including the Savannah night life downtown.
Patrick just needs a loving home and an occasional treat.
He has been dramatically different that what has been described when he was turned into KBTF.
He is a great mature Kerry, deserving a great mature home.

Patrick died of an apparent aneurism a few days ago. Just dropped dead while playing happily with George's puppies. It sounds like he was an absolutely great kerry boy, and I'm glad he had a few months in George's care, where he was clearly happy and felt secure.
