2011 Rescue Kerries Placed: Manni

Rescue Coordinator: Linda Lee

Hi! My name’s Manni. I am a two year old healthy, neutered, male Kerry. I weigh about 40 lbs. I get along really well with children and with the female Kerry in the household. I don’t like the male Kerry very much and he doesn’t like me either. So I have to find a new home where there is not another male dog.

I might need a little encouragement on my house training, but I ‘m getting better. Everyone says I’m a really sweet guy. And I sure do like to be around people!

Manni is now fully a part of the family. He loves to play with his toys and will bring them just a little out of reach so that we are tricked into reaching for them to throw. He then lunges for them so he can play more. He is so sweet and fun loving. Manni is such a typical Kerry when he follows me like a shadow from room to room putting his nose into everyone's business. He loves us and we love him. He stands at the back door guarding the house and rushes out of the doggie door to at the least sign of a threatening squirrel or bothersome blue jay. He is a great dog and we are so fortunate to have him live with us.
