2007 October Rescue: Guinnie

© 2016 Kerry Blue Terrier Foundation

Alisa Stratton adopted one of the girls from this group. Alisa named her girl Guinnie. Guinnie joined a household with an oversized male wire fox terrier and a young boy as well as Alisa and her husband. At first she was very shy with the adult members of the household and wanted to prove to the young boy that she was his boss. With time and training she has settled in very well though she still barks at Alisa's husband if he comes in the house wearing a hat, it seems like she doesn't recognize him until he removes the hat. Alisa has realized that Guinnie is a dog that needs a job and has started training various behaviors to give her that job.
