Poison Proof Your Home

 

Poisonings are usually accidental - most can be prevented. According to the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center, you can protect your canine companion against illness and/or the threat of poisoning by preventing the ingestion of the items on the list below.   • Chocolate
  • Coffee
  • Grapes and raisins
  • Yeast dough
  • Xylitol: a sweetener found in sugar-free candy and gum
