Rhoda Bergman

Rhoda's show days

This donation is in memory of my good friend of 25 years, Rhoda Bergman who passed away on Sept 11, 2014.

Throughout Rhoda's life, one of her greatest loves was that of the Kerry Blue Terrier. She began with a wonderful pet named Brow, moved on to showing and for a short time breeding, but found her true passion in finding homes for kerries in need. In 1995, Rhoda was awarded a plaque by the Greater Boston Kerry Blue Terrier Club, in commemoration of her devotion to rescue. Throughout her life, she not only found homes for many kerries, she adopted several herself. Littermates Katie and Carrie were adopted and much loved by Rhoda, and many years later she adopted Morley through the Foundation. Morley would be her last, and gave her much joy and companionship in the last years of her life. Rhoda was a friend with which I shared a wonderful friendship and she will always be missed. I greatly admired her devotion to the breed she loved so much. Rest in peace Rhoda and may you be surrounded by all the joyous Kerry Blues you helped to find loving homes.

You will always be an inspiration.
