Agility Kerry Style

Rascal

Rascal with her hair up in an elastic.
We get so many questions about what to do with the fall.

For those of you wondering if we were still working on our agility, yes Rascal and I (and my size 10 two left feet) are still attending classes. We even went to another agility fun run last Saturday. Along with Rascal, there
was Gabby with Janet Beeby and Rasha with Candi Marzano. Yes, three Kerries! The girls were so cute together and do get along very well. It was very thrilling to watch Janet run Gabby. Wow can that Gabby ever weave! She is so powerful. Janet also took Rasha through the course. Another wow watching that most gorgeous Rasha work her way through the course.

And then there's me & Rascal. Well, we've had eleven classes and we're really just starting to put more than a couple pieces of equipment together. Our classes now have much more emphasis on learning how to steer your dog.
Anyway, Rascal was in season so she's wearing her pants (thank heavens). I had just taken her out to potty. We got off to a pretty good start...jumps we just love jumps. She hesitated to mount the dog walk. I finally got her up there and she started to squat to pee!! Yikes...I got her going and we finished our agility and went straight outside. Poor thing. But can you imagine a fun grown adult Kerry balancing on a four inch wide board four feet in the air stopping to go?

Sunday was Rascal's fourth birthday. Of course we celebrated by going to training class. Its so hard for me to believe that Rascal has been my baby for almost four whole years. I still get complements on that lovely Kerry
puppy...ah, youth eternal.
