Female #118, Maggie

Maggie

What a sweetheart! Maggie has adapted very quickly to her new home and we are delighted with her. She is mellow, friendly to all, and has the doggie door down pat. We start obedience next week, gotta get those basic commands down. Maggie played with another kerry today, and is going to stay with him next weekend. Thank you for reminding us how great a kerry is!

Thought an update was in order on Maggie, formerly known as #118 from the Shelbina Express Rescue.

Maggie continues to be very mellow and a great kisser. She is afraid of nothing but doesn't get too bothered if cats and squirrels are in her yard. She goes to doggy daycare sometimes and has a wonderful time flirting with the boys. She rolls over onto her back and wiggles for them! Maggie also boards at a pet resort and apparently loves the swimming pool. She runs with the other dogs as though to fetch something but has no interest in getting anything, she apparently runs laps and then sits in the shade. Maggie loves to tug and will fetch something thrown down our hallway but has no interest in doing anything similar outside! In fact, she humors me twice and then takes it right in through the dog door.
Her favorite sleeping position is the one with her legs straight up in the air, sometimes one leg, sometimes two.

She has passed her basic obedience with flying colors and we will start an intermediate class in the fall. Everyone loves her.
Many thanks again for all the work you and all your rescuers perform without hesitation.
