Chad

We got Chad at 7 months old, he was small and a little bit afraid. He wasn't scared of men, unlike his brothers. He has a lot of energy and will start running around the pool as fast as he can, he's funny to watch. Speaking of pool, he lov es to jump in the pool. I have to watch him every time we go to my in-law's house because it's an in ground pool and he can jump right in it. He is very good with children, he loves to run after them. Every morning my daughter comes into our room and give kisses to the dog first thing.

He is good with the commands he knows which are Sit, Down, NO, Come and he listens very well. The only thing we have a problem with is that he doesn’t like to ride in the car. So we have to be very patient and after a while and a lot of cookies he jumps in.

He plays a lot with Maddy (from the April Surprise Rescue) they get along very well. Maddy is very calm and older (6 years old) so when she is tired and doesn’t want to play anymore she tells him and he stops right away. He is a really good boy. We love him very much.

I am very fortunate both of my dogs are rescues and both wonderful dogs. Thanks to all the people involved in the Kerry Blue Terrier Foundation that they gave a second chance to our wonderful Kerries.
