Rocky is such a perfect dog for us. Thank you for placing him in our home.

 
After I got home, it took me 10 minutes to get Rocky out of the car, and to come into our house. I had tried every thing I could think of to "lure" him to come with me, but ended up carrying him to the house.
 
He sniffed all over the house; every corner and every room. Then he felt more settled and started to play a little with Melody. It was then I took this picture.
 
Melody had been excited all night but we had already seen the benefit of having Rocky with us: she did everything quick so she can play with Rocky. Claire was asking the question many people had asked "Can he see?" and also, "Can he bark?" because Rocky is so quiet. We had never heard a sound he made until 4:30 AM this morning. I figure it was probably due to the jet lag, he woke up at exactly the time Lisa told me, 7:30 AM Eastern Time. I had to leave my bed and took him out to let him release himself, but he seemed a little scared to go outside.
 
We are working on to win his trust and love. Hopefully he will love to go outside and play with us soon. He likes to stay close to us already. And he seems to like my wife Claire more. I guess he is so smart he knows the hostess is his food source.
 
We brushed him early this morning (6:30AM, again, another benefit of having Rocky); He seems to like it. He is sleeping next to my desk as I'm typing this email. I hope he will recover from his exhaustion soon. Yesterday was really a long day for him.
 
I will send you more pictures later this week. When it comes to showing Melody's pictures to the public, Claire always wants to find the perfect one.
 
Did you see that Melody was wearing a t-shirt that has many dog prints on it? She pointed at one in the center and told us, "look, I have a Kerry Blue here." (I think that is a Scottie though) Later after Claire bathed her, she pulled her hair in front of her face and said "do I look like Rocky now?" We were both laughing out loud. We truly thank Rocky brings this joy to us, and hope to enjoy our life with him for the next 15+ years.
