On this web page, Canadian breeders give description of a natural diet they use to raise and sustain their Dachshunds. Although, I find this diet quite good, I would add to it raw bones (twice a week), substitute
ground meat with fresh or unfrozen raw meat (amount of fat in meat should be adjusted based on weather and workload), and subtract the supplements.
