Our girl Sassy often takes her toys for a walk--she carries them in her mouth for 1/2 mile (and we carry them home). But now, Sassy is taking her toys with her during bathtime. She held her ball during the shampooing, rinsing, and the dry-off on the grooming table. The advantage is that the ball got cleaned, and Murphy, her housepal, didn't get to play with it. Sometimes, a girl's got to protect her stuff!

He lives with his family Greg, Annice, John E, Naedia and Karina Matechak in Marietta GA.
He is a very active, playfull and loyal Kerry.
He likes to chase any critter, fur or feather, in the backyard.
He listens when he wants to and he will fetch until he decides to stop.
He socializes well with the neighborhood dogs at a local baseball field.
He can be seen with his pet girl looking for birds.

Here is a very sweet Kerry face in a moment of cooperation with "mom."

When my Kerry Emma was one year old I got the kitten Purr, who immediately
decided that Emma was her mother and proceeded to "nurse." One astonished
Kerry complied, thus debunking the general notion that Kerries and cats don't mix.

We've had Alf since he was 2.5 months old (he was born on August, 2001), then we had our second son (our baby boy) Joel who was born on September 2nd, 2002. By the time these pictures were taken, Joel was 10 mo. and we had been encouraging him to say his first word. I was trying to teach him to say "Mama", so that when he'd be crying he'd be calling her and not me. ;)

But this day, we were telling him to touch "Alf", and saying "Alf, look, it's Alf..." and he did what we never expected him to do: He spoke up and said "ALFFFFF" once, and again, and again!!!!

So, Joel's first word was not "Mom" or "Dad" or even "water" or "milk" IT WAS: "ALFFFFF"

Erin is Colleen's full sister and has decided that it is great to have a little sister to play with.
The older boys think it is great that they get to watch.
Colleen came to us four weeks ago via the rescue network and we are very pleased to welcome into our family. Like Shawn and Erin, Colleen is now actively pursuing agility training with the hope that she will be starting
her competitive trialing next January.
