The season
is upon us and I am sure that many of you have begun your gift shopping.
With that in mind I have something for you to think about. Most of us on
this list have everything we need and very nearly every thing we want, as
do our friends and families. You might want to think about something really
useful to give as a gift that benefits those outside of this privileged
circle. You may want to give an Alternative Gift this year, a Gift of Peace
which is given in honor of a friend or relative. When
you purchase an Alternative Gift Card you receive beautiful gift card with
informational inserts describing your gift. These cards then can be mailed
to persons on your gift list, a shared blessing for both the donor and the
receiver.

has been designed and printed especially for you to send to the person in
whose honor you are making the donation. One card and gift envelope will
be sent for every increment of $25 donated.
Remember that one gift of $25 will pay for immunizations for a rescue Kerry,
$50 will provide a shipping crate to shelter a rescue in his/her flight
to freedom, $100 will pay for a spay/neuter and gifts above that amount
enable us to continue our campaign to release all Kerries from puppy mills
and shelters and find them loving forever homes. I hope that you will consider
this method of sharing the wealth and joy of the season.
